I consider myself a painter-printmaker; it’s hard to know where one starts and the other ends sometimes. I use all printmaking media - collagraph, etching and drypoint, mezzotint and monotype. I mix printing and painting together. I incorporate chine colle into etchings or embellish them with watercolour. I am experimenting with plant media and carborundum. The quest for ways of expressing what I see around me never ends, and neither should it - it’s what life’s all about, what art’s all about.
